A benefit gala
dinner held in the San Francisco Main Library with more
than 30 noted Bay Area authors. The evening begins with
a reception in the main rotunda, followed by intimate
dinner parties in each of the library’s salons
– with a laureate seated at each table. After
dinner, laureates read from their works to those gathered
in the salon. Laureates have included Tobias Wolfe,
Daniel Handler, Carol Field, devorah majors and Po Bronson.
